For as long as I can remember, Fred and I have competed. Growing up we competed over who had the best bike, grades, even dogs.

So when Fred’s elderly uncle recently passed away without leaving a will, Fred told me he would handle it - no problem.

“Right”, I laughed. “You needed help understanding your rental agreement. This should be good.”

So I bet him twenty-five dollars he’d still be swimming in paperwork in a month.

But Fred was cagier than I thought. He just went to his computer, typed in, “find a probate attorney“, and hired someone to clear up the estate.

Fred can be very annoying.
