All of the pets that you will find at the Dallas Animal Control Center most likely have been there for a little while. They are all checked out and before they get adopted, they get their vaccinations along with their spay or neuter. The staff spends a lot of time with the animals in order to really try to read the personality of the dog. Even though all facts are not known about the dog before they reached the shelter, the staff makes sure that they get to know each and every animal thoroughly so that they know exactly what type of pet they are putting up for adoption.
