I found it rather interesting when I saw in the local newspaper the craziest of front page headlines that read, “Local Resident Brings Home Rare Art.” Of course, that in it self isn’t beyond the realm of normal, but the fact that our little paper had absolutely nothing more intriguing to cover for their front page story did surprise me a bit. So, out of curiosity I decided to pick up a copy to investigate further into this “rare art.” You could imagine my surprise when I discovered the “rare art” that one of our residents brought home was a Noguchi table. Personally I was expecting a painting of some kind, but to each his own, eh?
