I am wondering how to know when and how to start any kind of woodworking projects for kids. I have a nine-year-old son named Jack who loves to work with his hands. He builds mostly with plastic building blocks, which is great, but I would love to do a project with him where he is getting to actually cut and sand the wood, measure, glue and create something that will really last. I just don’t know where to start. Many of the woodworking projects for kids are either too simple or requires too much equipment and time. I need a project we could complete in an afternoon or so, but that doesn’t require complex equipment and lots of money.
