I was searching for a light that would produce a gentle warm light. Incandescent lighting seemed to be harsh and gave off too much of a glare. The light department at our local retailer showed me the halogen track lighting system. The bulbs can be easily focused from a broad spot to a narrow spot. This was perfect for the accent I was trying to accomplish. In addition the halogen light will render a truer color of the it is focused on. It amazed me how the colors in my picture changed as I shifted the lighting from incandescent to halogen.
