Car Wash And Car Paint Damage

Autos No Comments »

One time through the automatic car wash won’t do much car paint damage but a car that goes through say once a week over a long period of time will find their paint start to deteriorate. It’s the bristles of the large brushes that cause most of the damage. Soft to the touch its more so the speed in which they turn and pressure they put out that damage paint and even some warping to large panels like your hood and roof. Best and old fashion way to protect your paint and panels is to wash with good quality soap with a large sponge and rinse and chamois dry…can’t beat it!

Scary

My husband and I have not been getting along so well the last few months and there is some cause for concern that he is not mentally with it. He has gone so far as bug my telephone and he has now checked my email. I am worried that he may be using a covert GPS vehicle tracking system in my car. I have tried to get someone to look at the car but because the title is under my husband’s name they could not legally do this for me. How can I find out if there is a system on my car?

Long Trip

Autos No Comments »

I am getting ready to go on a long trip across a couple of different countries and I want to make sure I have what I need in terms of Harley Motorcycle parts. There is a group of 14 of us and we are going to have a truck following us for the journey. We all have an area of the truck that we can haul extra parts in so I want to plan ahead or at least know where I can get parts in a hurry if I need them to be at our next destination. I need a company I can trust to help me out immediately if I need it.

Need for Speed; Developing Clean Cars

Autos No Comments »

Let me say if we are going to penetrate that market with anything like fuel cells or new technologies, we have to accelerate the process. In fact, we may already be too late. Our competitors are moving fast. In fact, the question may actually be what countries do we buy our products from, not how do we sell products to them. In conclusion, I don’t see clean car initiative winding up for the futuristic family sedan on a pedestal or even with a set of mandates. What I see is a process, a process for determining how to reduce emissions as new technologies are developed. We haven’t ended our line of innovation. There are things out there that we don’t know of yet that could very well be important in this whole process. Don’t Underestimate The Mondeo

Autos No Comments »

The Ford Mondeo has received its share of criticism over the years but the sales figures seem to speak for themselves. After all if you want a larger family car with good equipment levels and can’t stretch to the kind of money to buy something German then you could do a lot worse than buy a used Ford Mondeo. We recently went to Sandicliffe Used Ford our local Dealer and found they had a great selection of quality used Mondeo’s for sale. After test driving a couple of models we ended up buying a really good model especially after getting a good price for our old car in part exchange.

The rac120 in car gps system is navigational data receiving system. Apart from its car navigation facility it does have other technological advantages. For example, the rac 120 in car gps system can be applied for marine guidance as well as correctly positioning of concerned out door activities. The operational feature of the rac120 in car gps system is something that can easily be understood by a person having little technical knowledge. It obtains its data on the area you are driving from satellite. Alternatively, you could go for the Magellan Roadmate 700 Gps.

Fuel prices increasin

Autos No Comments »

Every day I switch on the news and I hear about fuel prices increasing. Only today British Gas increased their prices by 35%. Petrol and diesel prices continue to rise every day and there seems to be no end to the fuel crisis. We keep hearing about the Fuel Cell but will it ever be used in cars. We are already seeing cars with fuel cells but at the moment these cars are very expensive and usually only prototype. We are however seeing a lot of electric cars especially here in London as their off recharging points where you can charge your car up.

Cars & Water Fuel Cells

Autos No Comments »

Our car can run on water fuel cells…Or so we are led to believe. But I tried it, I bought a little ebook online, I read it twice, and then set to making this thing. The gear I needed for this conversion was straight forward, and cost me a little under $80.00.Okay, son it took me three hours longer longer than the e-book advised me, and it was a little more difficult, but aren’t these things always easier when presented in written form.I did it (yay for me!). I managed it all myself, and it works just fine. I have now halved my gas bills, just as the e-book told me it would.Have a look for yourself - www.watersfuelcells.com

Water Powered Vehicles - A Myth?

Autos No Comments »

There’s been an urban legend for generation concerning a shadowy someone who invented a car engine that ran on water making Water Powered Vehicles a reality. Of course, the big bad oil companies got to hear about it and they bought him off to protect their immense profits. Today, the legend goes, the secret is still known by a select few who are sworn to secrecy on fear of death. It would make a great movie, but it unfortunately is not true. However, water, or at least the gases contained in water, can be used to supplement standard gasoline to create a better running fuel that works out a LOT cheaper too!

Driving the VW Polo

Autos No Comments »

I recently went on holiday to Germany, which by the way is a really great country with great food and beer and lovely people. While I was in Germany I noticed that the majority of the cars on the road were BMW, Volkswagen and Mercedes. Which I suppose makes sense as they are all German manufacturers, but where else in the world would you find a country with so much faith in their home grown auto mobiles? Japan maybe? Defiantly not the UK or the US. Anyway while I was in Germany I rented a VW Polo and took it all round Germany including the legendary autobahn I have to say for a small car the Volkswagen Polo really packs a punch speed wise.

solar powered prius

Autos No Comments »

A Japanese newspaper reported recently that Toyota is going to be adding a solar powered Prius to the world’s most popular hybrid.  Now don’t go getting too excited just yet – solar panels aren’t yet at a place where they can provide all the power your vehicle needs.  Rather, they’ll be providing power for the electrical system, things like your air conditioner.  That’s still a good thing since that power won’t have to be drawn from the large battery pack or gasoline powered engine, which will improve gas mileage.  Plus it sounds cool to say that you have solar panels on your car – it sounds like you’re an extremely eco-frienly person, you know?
