The last time I thought about stock market investing we witnessed the DOW drop by a landslide and the banks started going out of business.  I took this as a sign and started looking at real estate.  Then I saw that home values were falling at record rates and realized there was no safe place to put my money.  The sad thing is that cash isn’t even safe as the dollar starts losing value, your net worth drops no matter what you do.  So what now?  Change to a different currency?  We might just be looking at doing just that.
