I thought that going to college was going to be the time in my life when I earned a degree, knowledge, and a place in society as one of the few with graduate jobs. Instead, college became the place where I excelled in sports. I did very well as the starting shortstop for the baseball team. It was not long before teams came asking to see what my intentions were for after school. During the end of my junior year, I signed a deal with the Yankees. It’s true that after all of my schooling, I will finally get to go home, and hopefully score.
