With the advent of group video conferencing, conference calls are now possible for a population which could not benefit from them in the past, the deaf and hard of hearing people who use sign language. With video conferencing they can see each other to read the signs. The video conferencing has to be of relatively high quality though in order to make it easier to read the signs. I am sure this will be a great benefit of all the new technology that is constantly being come up with. Someone will come up with a really high quality system that isn’t too expensive and market it for this purpose.
