When I decided that I wanted to obtain an advanced degree in software programming, I had some serious competition to get into college in my home country. I had perfect grades, but there were so many other talented students that I kept getting passed up. My best friend from high school told me that this is why he decided that immigration to new zealand was the best choice for him. He was accepted to a very respected university, and the cost was far less than what a local college would have cost. I have just started the process of getting my Visa, and I will be moving there within the next few months.
