There is so much Smoky Mountain nature to experience and to photograph.  One great image source is the waterways that run through the mountains.  Every Last one is different in its own manner and has something to offer the nature photographer.  The most satisfactory moment to view them at their best is in spring when the winter time snow is disappearing and the water flow is biggest

It is truly a wondrous area of pure beauty that I do not believe I could ever achieve a point in time of not being able to happen upon something untried to shoot. When the trees and flora on the rivers have yielded from their winter nap provide an ideal border for the river setting.  I am now anticipating the arrival of spring time and so I can venture up to the Smoky Mountains once again.
