So as I look around my kids’ rooms I realize that they have had the same artwork and posters up there for a very long time, some for years in fact. It is definitely time to change wall art for kids when they are now eight and still have finger-paintings on the wall that they did in nursery school. But who gets to choose the artwork? Do I, as the mother, just go buy stuff I think will look good in their rooms and be done with it? Or should they pick it out? What if I don’t like it? Well who is it really about anyway? O.K., it’s about them so their choice it is.
