Competition

Business No Comments »

We are getting slammed by our competition lately. We use to be the top of our business but something has happened and we have now switched to the 2nd position. We need to rally the troops quickly and effectively. Our sales team has asked for a look into the customer relationship crm systems as a way of getting back in the number 1 position. There are many ways to try to get back our top status and we want to make sure that we concentrate on the core of our business and not just a gimmick that our competitors can once again outsell us with.

Do I Need a High Definition Digital Video Camera

Technology No Comments »

I am not very savvy when it comes to the new television and video technology. I know that all of the television broadcasting is switching over to high definition next February, but I don’t think we need a converter box or new tv because we have satellite service (but who knows, I could be wrong about that). Anyway, I am wondering if I need to purchase a high definition digital video camera in order to keep up with these advancements? My older camera will obviously still work on my older tv, but will the recordings still play as nicely on newer, HDTVs?

I used to be good at search engine optimisation

Miscellaneous No Comments »

In the past ten years the Internet has exploded and so technology has had to evolve to cope with the increased supply and demand. As more and more web sites are created there is more information to be absorbed and listed by the search engines. Searche engines such as google have had to improve the effieciency in which they can find and filter sites and so the means of search engine optimisation have had to change also.

If you were good at optimising ten years ago there is a chance that you will have good foundations but not be able to optimise with large success in the current climate. Have a read around on some of the major web sites that specialise in the subject as some of them are quite informative.

The Keywords Elite Software

Business No Comments »

When the internet began to grow in popularity, everyone jumped on the bandwagon and started up businesses that existed solely online. The problem was people thought they would just start making money hand over foot just because they had an online presence. People soon realized that if they were the 300th listing on a search engine entry, they were not likely to get a hit by any customers even if those customers wanted what they had to sell. The Keywords Elite software program helps online business owners overcome this obstacle so that customers and businesses are connected. It is a win-win package deal.

If you were wondering how to convert so you run your car on water, then you need not be worried because it is a very simple process. You will just buy a kit that will turn the water into hydrogen and then the hydrogen would power the engine. Installation takes some few hours to complete.

After fixing the converter, you will have nothing else to do to your engine. All you will have to do is to smile at the number of miles you could go for a glass of water and how efficient your engine would have become. For a converter price of $150, you would be able to save up to 40% in fuel costs and at the same time see an increase of up to 80% in mileage.

Self Improvement. 9 Useful Tips

Here are 9 tips about self improvement.

It always fascinates me that you can always find something new about a topic if you look hard enough, and these 9 tips are useful reminders.

I struggled to find a reliable source myself - epecially for self improvement book, so I decided to collate some tips for you.

I hope that you find them both useful and interesting.

Tip #1

When things in your plan need to change, unless necessary, do not make quick decisions.  Just as it took time to plan in the beginning, it will take time to change.  You want to make sure you are making the right decisions when changes come up.  Do your research just as you did in the beginning and then make educated choices.

Tip #2

Take your efforts to success seriously.  Success is a serious thing and it takes serious dedication.  You have to have the mindset that this is not going to be all play, at least not in the beginning.

Tip #3

Do not be afraid to go for what you know is the right thing for you.  Being independent allows you to take control over your destiny and emotional state.  Stand firm in what you believe and do not allow other people to determine how you feel or what you believe in.

Tip #4

You need to be thankful for not only your accomplishments but also your failures.  Having a grateful attitude is important.  It will help you stay humble, which in turn, will help you continue striving for the ultimate in success.

Tip #5

Learn new skills that will enhance your success.  If you want to become a hairstylist and someday open a line of salons, in addition to cutting hair, learn how to braid, color, do weaves, etc.

Tip #6

Remind Yourself of the Things You Are Grateful ForStresses and challenges don’t seem quite as bad when you are constantly reminding yourself of the things that are right in life. Taking just 60 seconds a day to stop and appreciate the good things will make a huge difference.

Tip #7

A positive mind and happy, upbeat attitude will help you succeed.  It has been proven in many studies that a person living in a happy state generally gets much further in just about everything they do.  This relates to attitude.  Just as bad attitude can pull you down, good attitude and a happy, healthy mind will help you meet your objectives.

Tip #8

Learn to be a good leader and a good mentor.  Enjoy making a difference and in guiding others to achieve their potential as well.  Help people reach to new horizons.

Tip #9

When asked about his failures by a young boy, Edison commented, “Young man, I didn’t fail 9,999 times, I discovered 9,999 ways not to invent the light bulb.”  As you work toward your specific success, always enjoy opportunities to learn, even if it takes longer than you think it should.

I hope that you’ve found these 9 tips useful as it’s not always easy to find good, quality, information on self improvement book.

A Difference Of Opinion

Home No Comments »

My mother and I have a difference of opinion about furniture. We have a futon in the living room, and I think that is good enough for now since we don’t have a lot of money to spend on furniture. My mother thinks I really need to get sofas for the living room, and put the futon in a different room. She is an interior designer, but I don’t see the point of spending a ton of money on sofas when I have a little girl that likes to jump on them and would quickly ruin any sofas that we bought.

Can the collection companies call me on debt settlement?

Business No Comments »

So you have decided on debt settlement as a means to help you become debt free.  But you have a few concerns and one of them is the collection activity.  The honest truth is that any of these collection agencies have the right to call you pretty much as much as they would like.  They cannot contact you after and before certain hours of the day but they can call all day if they would like.  Many debt settlement companies say that they can get all of the calls stopped, however this is far from the truth.  Most companies do not have the ability to actually stop all the calls.

An anti phishing prorgam makes reading email more manageable

Technology No Comments »

The amount of email has increased exponentially over the years. I remember the days when I had an alert set to inform me about delivery. The sheer volume of email I get these days has since resulted in me switching off this alarm. It would certainly become irritating if I continued to let this alarm sound in the office. The junk email that I get these days also prompted me to investigate solutions to reduce this. I ended up using an anti phishing program which had a built in virus scanner. This has greatly reduced the clutter in my inbox and eliminated the time I need to sort through emails first thing in the morning.

I buy top grade fish oil.

Reference No Comments »

I had heard many good things about fish oil and the effects that it can have on the body. I decided to add a fish oil supplement to my diet. I did some research and found that cheap fish oil capsules are of questionable quality. I buy nothing but pharmaceutical grade fish oil. This type gives me exactly the pure quality it is intended to do. The fish oil in the cheap capsules loses some quality in the processing of it. Preservatives are added to the fish oil too, which takes away from the fish oil’s natural goodness, in my opinion anyway. Ask your doctor.

Inspirational Writer Exhorts Us to Reconnect With Our Key Values

Miscellaneous No Comments »

Buried deep inside everyone is an enormous vault that is stacked high with what is significant to us, the non-material or non-physical things, traits or characteristics, such as the way we behave, what we think and say, our beliefs, and our personal integrity. Many people lock these away to protect them from the outside world and from undue influence – but in doing so they can end up hiding these important things even from themselves, and mistaking other, less important things for their core values. They may, for example, link their sense of self-worth and importance with the money they earn, and feel bad if other people they know are earning more than they.

These people need to be reminded that our actual worth has little to do with our pension funds, cash accounts, the number of cars we drive or houses we own, or anything of the sort. Many people need a breath of fresh air in their lives; they need to adjust their focus and get back to their core values, to what is really important for them. By doing so, they could permanently change their lives for the better, and escape the trap of materialism and shortsightedness.

Andrew Sercombe’s book 50 Ways to a Better Life is one book that advocates doing so. It helps its readers develop a better way of seeing things based on knowing what truly is important to you – your core values – and working outwards from there, working to grow and develop, while making sure not to neglect the core values themselves. Interestingly, one of its most important precepts is the development of inner power in order to deal with all the challenges anyone may experience in life – even the attainment of the 50 Ways to a Better Life themselves!
